The Samsung Galaxy A07 is powered by the Helio G99, which may be old, but it is a major improvement over the 12nm G85 that was in last year’s model. This chip is fabbed on a newer 6nm node and features a newer architecture with Cortex-A76 CPU cores and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU (vs. A55 and G52).
Even better, the A07 launches with Android 15/One UI 7 and will be supported with 6 OS updates – that’s a lot more than the A06, which is only getting 2 OS updates. Also, the new model has basic ingress protection with an IP54 rating (water splashes)
Connectivity options will include dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It will also have a microSD card slot and come with IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. The official poster says that Samsung will offer it six major OS updates, meaning that it may get Android 21, and six years of security updates.
The Galaxy A07 is a dual-SIM 4G phone with a dedicated spot for a microSD card. And yes, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack too. Other connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5 (ac), Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB-C 2.0 port.
That port can charge the 5,000mAh battery at 25W. The phone measures 167.4 x 77.4 x 7.6mm and weighs 184g.
